Social Media and Website Manager

I started as a server/bartender but soon took on more responsibilities, becoming a floor manager. Alongside this role, I also assumed control of the restaurant's website and social media accounts. I am currently focused on updating these platforms and increasing the restaurant's online presence.

01 Defining Needs

Stakeholder Meeting:

  • Began with discussions with the owners regarding their envisioned brand identity.

Competitor Analysis:

  • Examined other restaurants that stakeholders identified as sharing a similar ambiance.

Online Presence:

  • Agreed upon the need for a comprehensive website overhaul and recognized the necessity of bolstering their visibility on Facebook and Instagram.

User Interface:

  • They communicated the wish to uphold a cohesive theme by employing lowercase letters for specials and menu posts on social media, aligning with the logo style.

  • Collaboratively settled on a suitable color palette.

Social Media Manager:

  • Following a deliberative post approval process, the stakeholders concluded that the optimal approach would involve entrusting me with generating and overseeing posts, while also ensuring alignment on content related to specials and events.
